About the New Mexico Campaign to End Child Homelessness

The New Mexico Campaign to End Child Homelessness connects families, communities, service providers, advocates, policymakers, elected officials, and the media to address child and family homelessness through an array of coordinated local and state-based efforts.  The New Mexico Campaign is a call to action with the following goals:

    • Increase public awareness of the scope and impact of homelessness on children and families

    • Inform state and local policies and plans to better address the needs of homeless children and families

    • Improve program design and service delivery to effectively meet the unique needs of homeless children and families

The New Mexico Campaign to End Child Homelessness is an initiative of the Campaign to End Child Homelessness at The National Center on Family Homelessness in partnership with members of the New Mexico Campaign to End Child Homelessness Steering Committee which includes organizations that support and serve children, youth, and families who are homeless, early childhood education programs, schools, health care organizations, advocacy organizations, and many others.
